Hello everyone! Welcome to the channel. I hope you’re all having a wonderful day. The rain that started this morning seems to be finally stopping. Wishing you a beautiful weekend ahead! Let’s forget about work for a bit, shall we? Remember, even difficult things become easier with practice. Repeating thoughts or actions forms habits, and frequent repetition leads to automatic responses. As the saying goes, great individuals are humble in their speech but act far more than they speak. So, let’s take action and grab some lunch!

Finding the Cafeteria: Location and Directions

Today, we’re heading to the cafeteria located within the Seoul Logistics Complex, at 55 Songpa-daero, Songpa-gu, Seoul, S-dong, 102. It’s about 535 meters from Exit 4 of Jangji Station (Line 8). It might be a bit of a trek, especially on a rainy day like today.

Address: 55 Songpa-daero, Songpa-gu, Seoul, S-dong, 102

Nearest Subway Station: Jangji Station (Line 8), Exit 4

Walking Directions from Jangji Station Exit 4: Exit Jangji Station Exit 4 and walk straight. Then, turn left. The route can be a little tricky to navigate. After exiting, walk straight and make a left turn; continue straight, and you’ll arrive in approximately 10 minutes. You’ll pass by Garden Five along the way.

This cafeteria primarily serves the employees working at the logistics center. They even offer late-night meals (yasik). While some people in the area might have tried it, I suspect many haven’t. So, let’s review lunch together today!

Exploring the Seoul Logistics Complex

The Seoul Logistics Center is likely one of the largest in Seoul. We can see sections designated as Buildings B and C. These are further divided by company. We’ll cross the street and pass through Building A to reach the cafeteria.

Once you’re near Building A, you’re almost there. The logistics center is vast, and many people are likely working diligently. After passing through Building A, you’ll easily find the cafeteria. It’s located on the first floor.

Inside the Cafeteria: Ordering and Ambiance

As you enter, you’ll find a kiosk ordering system. There are two kiosks available. The payment process is similar to other kiosk systems you might have used. A single meal costs 5,500 won, which is quite an attractive price! Some people might even purchase meal tickets in bundles of 10 or 20.

Let’s explore this logistics center cafeteria together! The daily menu is displayed, along with the operating hours. Lunch is served from 11:20 AM to 1:20 PM, and dinner is from 5:00 PM to 6:20 PM. They also have late-night meals, so please take note of the schedule. You can also check the menu on a weekly basis.

The menu is also displayed near the entrance. Please check it out! Note that on Sundays, late-night meals are served starting from the evening.

There are two serving lines available.

The Food: A Hearty and Affordable Meal

Today’s menu includes a stew. One of the staff members said it was gochujang jjigae (red pepper paste stew), and the menu indicates sigeol doenjang jjigae (country-style soybean paste stew). It tasted delicious! The price is a very reasonable 5,500 won.

The meal consists of sigeol doenjang jjigae (country-style soybean paste stew), a mini pork cutlet, bolomok (fish cake), braised konjac, kimchi, seasoned vegetables, and a green salad.

For those working at the logistics center, it must be a great benefit to have such an affordable meal option. Plenty of cabbage is also available, so you can eat your fill. The staff member mentioned gochujang jjigae, but the menu says sigeol doenjang jjigae. Perhaps it had a slight gochujang flavor. The stew contains plenty of tofu, zucchini, and radish, making it a very satisfying meal.

We’re here at the Seoul Logistics Complex cafeteria. Judging by the spacious interior, many people come here for their meals.

The stew contained radish, zucchini and other vegetables, enriching its flavour.

Today, I had lunch at the Seoul Logistics Complex cafeteria, located near Exit 4 of Jangji Station. Many people were enjoying their meals before returning to work. Around 12 PM, customers started arriving steadily.

That concludes our review of the Seoul Logistics Complex cafeteria. Thank you for watching, and I’ll be back with more content soon. Thank you, everyone!

Google Search and General Assessment

A quick Google search for “restaurants near Jangji Station Exit 4” reveals a variety of options, from Korean BBQ and cafes to noodle shops and casual dining spots. However, these options generally cater to a broader audience and might be priced higher than the logistics center cafeteria.

Considering the location within a logistics complex, the cafeteria serves a specific need – providing affordable and convenient meals for the center’s employees. The menu is likely designed for quick service and satisfying portions, focusing on Korean staples. While it might not be a destination restaurant for a special occasion, it offers a practical and budget-friendly solution for those working in the area. The positive points are definitely the price and the portion sizes. Also a great way to experience real working class cuisine.
